Has it even been confirmed that someone could detect what the soul kings reatsu is like? As far as I know, it's only been known that someone is a part of him when the person reveals it. Which could mean the person wouldn't even know themselves if not told, e.g, possibly Orihime.
Remember we still have the legs of the king to go yet, and that's not counting other parts like the Heart that was revealed to be something that can be given, so she may have inherited something like his mind.

The problem is that we don't really see her faeries being used anymore. They took a back burner as did Orihime herself. I would imagine that Yammy saw the fairy, as he swatted him out of midair.

no, hollows killed by zanpakutou get purified, unless they qualify for hell. That seems to go for individual hollows, but arrancar are menos, so they're actually hundreds of hollows. Purifying them would imply breaking them back down to the people that became the hollows that became the menos that became the arrancar. The conciousness formed as a menos wouldn't have survived. Sensibly anyhow, but if Kubo wanted I'm sure he'd make up whatever and run with it.
