Me too. Yet normally I tend to not classify love and give value to it according to a classification. A close deep relationship (friendship or something romantic) between two person is a mixture of love, caring and trust most of time, you can add up more things too. A distant undeveloped relationship doesn't mean the feelings in between are nothing or cold, it probably has it's own beauty but it isn't same as the first one. I just think the first one is really beautiful and precious in life, something I value. I think BR is closer to that one. Practically we classify things and draw lines in daily life which is understandable but I don't know.
You may think sexual desires can be an useful tool to distinguish things. It's true to some extent but it's not always true and they don't occur to everyone's mind very clearly.

I think Marlo already had this question at the back of his head as a natural result after they made different decisions. Thinking about Hitch is also a comparison between them to see if he made the right choice, despite of the result maybe he did because people have different wrongs and rights. It's natural for him to think if it was worth it. He was realising he was near to death while thinking about Jean and Hitch, so words are fitting as well. Marlo maybe had latent feelings for Hitch I don't know but I think the main reason of his thinking about her is what I say above.

I have mixed feelings, honestly. I feel like Marlo died for something he thought was worthy of dying for, but at the same time, I'm sad that it looks like he died for nothing because Zeke is probably going to get away (all the other redshirts and maybe Erwin will have died for nothing also) when he still had some potential. It's a realistic death though. People die all the time in RL when they still have potential. Isayama seems to like these types of deaths. He said he liked the mist and people die for nothing in that, iirc.
