Let this be a lesson to all you nostalgiafags who like DM, GX, 5DS and ZEXAL. They are all shit series in comparison to ARC-V with poorly written narrative, characters, and duels. The new movie is complete Naruto-tier trash that stole our budget. This is budget that could've been used to improve animation and pay expensive voice actors like Hosoya so we could be blessed with more ZA PERFECT. ARC-V is so close to being NGE level of perfection and it would have surpassed it if it wasn't for nostalgia. If you want to talk about your shit series go do it in another thread because this is an ARC-V thread and you can't talk about anything else other than ARC-V.

This is still my favourite scene in the entire series so far. None of Berserk Yuya's appearances have had the same impact. I'll miss those days during Year 1, back when we still had something resembling a decent budget.
Would a general cross-over anime be popular?
I'm rewatching Arc-V's beginning episodes, and I still don't get why people are so impressed with the ability to use different summoning methods. If the cards were rare and expensive or something, it would at least make sense as a status symbol or something.

Because it's heavily implied that Leo Corporation JUST released fusion/xyz/synchro cards and the corresponding curriculum, and that those cards are very hard to come by and must be obtained by being a student of a prestigious duel school.
Reiji never used any of the other summoning methods in any recorded match before he dueled Yuya for the first time. I think it's safe to say that most of the cards Standard duelists used up until that point were "prototype" cards that were designed specifically for their archetypes by Leo Corp itself.

First anon here, and yeah, that's what is pretty much spelled out in the first few episodes. Like Yuzu didn't even understand that she had to keep her fusion monsters in her extra deck, so it's probably safe to say that she had never even heard of how to use polymerization, or what it even was used for. Anything involving the extra deck was presented as new information for the Standard crew.
