Oh yes. And the short ED at the end heals a lot.
I think it's too slow for my liking, while I enjoy how it's-just-there the fantasy was during the first part with Harbinger --- I personally disliked the cooking portion after that.
Don't get me wrong, it's fine as it is but a series titled Flying Witch makes me expect more of the shit they did with the Mandrake and the Harbinger. That very slow and mundane take in exploring fantastical shit. Because the scenes they do outside of that theme I can find better executed in other shows.

Episode 1 was funny. character interactions are slow and slightly cringeworthy. animation quality dropped after first episode as expected. Comedy is predictable to a good extent.

It's comfy, but almost boring
It's alright. It's comfy to a certain point, but not the holy grail that /a/ is trying to make it out to be. I'm not particularly fond of the "dot-nose" style. And everyone acts just a little too wooden. Even when the witch girl does something kooky and weird it comes across a little stiff. But it's watchable, in the end.

I fell asleep during second half of this week's episode.
I enjoy the magical stuff much more, they fulfill the role supernatural things played in Aria. Making the world the show takes place in charming and, well, magical. Having a weird looking monster that brings spring just stop by and say hello works great.

I'm glad someone is enjoying it though.
I was actually surprised when I saw this was being made into an anime series. I really enjoy the manga, but it is a slow, very calm slice of life story. So as long as they don't deviate from the story I will love every minute of it.
This show is so boring and unfunny only hardcore doujinshi can save it.
