Forced yuri killed the show. It's nice in fanservice shows but it was purely forced into this for sales. It's distracting and serve no artistic purpose.

No, that's just a meme. You really think KyoAni, Playing It Safe: The Company would risk that? The novels end with Kumiko getting with Shuichi, her male friend like every other boring, otaku-pandering romance series that KyoAni picks up does.
