That Eaglet is pretty useless, at least until she gets over her mental blocks or gets so good at shooting she can pull a Hatohara. Either way, it's not making full use of her trion; ultra-high range isn't particularly impressive when you don't have the shooting skill to stay accurate at those distances.

We have to assume shields aren't as good a weapons in general. We've yet to see a fight where someone with high trion just puts up a full shield and tanks everything thrown at them until their attacker gets tired, everyone has been putting up shields that are focused on one area of their body.
It's probably something like the difference between kogetsu and scorpion. Weapons tend to focus trion on a small area while shields have to be much wider unless you know exactly where an attack is coming from.

For Katori it's probably the Hound. Technically there's nothing wrong with it, we've seen some high level guys put it to good use. However that team of all hound users that got blown out by Yuma and Chika alone in the first match of the rank wars leaves a strong impression of Hound=scrub weapon. That idiot trio #2 also has a couple hound users doesn't help.

I would love it if we got some more engineer-side interactions showing Osamus intellect leading to him learning both Viper and composite bullets while being really good at it. I mean, he can be good with both of them but with his trion it's still not THAT much of power up.
It's like what, <10 composite bullets or like 30-50 vipers or his normal 100+asteroids per match. It would really show up his keikaku side if he could get point/set a nice situation for Yuuma with one good shot.
