Are you serious? After watching the new OP i'am almost 100% sure Arc-V will last longer than Zexal and 5DS. The new OP doesn't feel like a "Everything Is About To End" OP. There are tons of new characters, 3 and maybe 1 more returning characters from other Shows, they have barely show what Yuri is capable of and Leo Akaba doesn't appear that much in the OP. Yugioh Arc-V is an anniversary series and i doubt they'll end it this year. We have one more season to go.

Why is this the most contrived bullshit ever to get us in Heartland while leaving Jack,Crow,Sora,Reji,Tsukikage and Reira in Synchro? Are they even in synchro? It's freaking nightime where they are now that the roof has been blown off the security building.

Pretty fun, but flawed. Had a lot of nice worldbuilding and introspective moments with a fair amount of characters and did a really good job of making synchro feel almost alien in terms of societal views. The entire climax was also great.
Roger and Sergey were a treat the full way through too.
On the negative side; a lot of the good things were built up to slowly, so it made waiting somewhat agonizing at times; also going into another tournament arc after the first one was 15 eps prior was a poor choice pacing-wise, since while the friendship cup itself wasn't bad, it led to a pre-maiami championship scenario where the plot was given piecemeal.
Overall, it has its issues and was weaker than standard. But, I can say it's a good arc overall; and as far as low points go, this is arguably the least bad low point in the franchise.

episode 100 script when?
Could somebody explain how cards, the cards themselves, work in the yugioh anime lore? I haven't watched everything, I've only watched bits and pieces of each yugioh series.
I'm under the impression that the cards that Pegasus printed when he created Duel Monsters are just ordinary cards. But then there are cards like the Egyptian God Cards, Seal of Orichalcos, and Earthbound Immortals that are ancient cards with REAL ancient spirits and magical powers within them. Then I think with XYZ and Pendulums, they're tapping into alternate universes and these cards can appear out of thin-air and are perfectly legal to play.
Am I wrong about any of this? Any details I'm missing that tie it all together?

Like most people while completely hated it which can be understandable, I felt that it was good but not great as in extremely flawed.
I think that most of Synchro could have been better if they gave more interactions with the Lancers than separating them, show more time of Yuzu and Yugo side of the story, and not dragging the tournament as much.
With the new characters in Synchro the only I actually liked was ENJOY, Jack, the kids, Jean(as a pretty clever villain) and Sergey(despite him almost killing Yuzu). The other characters seem a bit too unbelievable and hypocritical that it got too annoying to the point to even stand them.
I also think that they should have made a bit more time in giving Yuzu a break and be more more active, even though I do think her actions were pretty good good but they could have been better than what happen now.

Huh, in the raws I noticed that Reiji didn't take the 1000 damage from his new Contract trap during his turn (he activated it during Roger's turn, won, then Roger respawned, then it was Reiji's turn and the Contract was still active, but no damage, then he used the loop again.
We don't know if the new Contract spell deals the damage since he got rid of it with Lamia. But since it's a contract, it most likely does inflict damage.

Even with character decks, Judai's Neos cards are completely unplayable like 55 anon said. The deck has too many weaknesses,no way to swarm, no way to protect, no way to special summon and most likely, no way to protect yourself or even stall. It's complete and utter crap and it amazes me they had the gall to throw Yubel in there as she is as well. Not even bothering transforming her into a hero monster or anything, just throw a card that needs a tribute to say on the field, needs the opponent to be dumb enough to attack and two tributes to even be summoned. You can forget about Neos plays but you still use Flame Wingman and Shining Flare Wingman plays. There's tons of ways to search them out and thanks to fusion tag you can get out Shining Flare Wingman while still using another hero to fuel it. Try that first then, if it's working for you it's fine. If you want to remain pure Elemental Hero that's fine too, Masked heroes are mostly there to give the deck borderline meta plays.
