The anime ended with a filler end that precludes them from resuming at a later time, and volumes sales have been on a slow, but steady decline since. There's a reason it's overhyped. The manga is really good although some parts can be eh but it is 100% worth reading. A lot of chapters that makes you want to read the next chapter.
I agree though, the first episode wasn't that impactful that would make you want to see the next episode. I wanted it to end like the chapter 1 ended but it would have been rushed then so can't be helped. Also I'm already disappointed if this anime really is 13 episodes since 2 first episodes is for chapter 1. The opening and ending are mediocre but the OSTs so far are enjoyable.
