Sorry anon the thread looks dead but here I go anyway. Next chapter could start with Luffy in the middle of the sea with the "Rescue Sanji" crew, which might involve Sugar and Pedro. If the two of them do end up going with Luffy the chapter might start with an explanation as to why they decided to tag along. The rest of the chapter might be exposition, Pekoms describing who Purin is maybe, possible first look, or we might just shift over to Whole Cake itself for a cliffhanger. Then timeskip to Luffy and comp. arriving.
Outside of that things that may happen:

So, assuming Weevil has defeated 15 of them from both the former and the latter group, it's a total of 15 out of 60, 25%

Jack was injured last we saw him, so we can assume he was pushed back. As for how it happened it's hard to imagine since Oda almost never articulates sea warfare, so since he went in with 5 ships and came out with 5 ships they just boarded them and got beat.

First we had Diable Jamble and after that Hell Memories, out of fucking nowhere.
Friction and "I get angry when I remember" shoud not be enough to cause an enemy burn damage.
And then Red Hawk, which is also sugoi and has the Ace-Luffy link, but is the most uncalled technique asspull after Doffy's Torikago. Not a single explanation as to why Luffy lit his arm on fire underwater, and I doubt we'll have one.
This shit downgrades the Mera Mera to a fruit just worthy for it's Hiken and shiny big moves.
It's not just DF powers that are getting more ridiculous over time, Oda's also running out of coherent ideas for powerups.

Consider that at Mock Town, had Luffy not learned this lesson from Shanks already, Blackbeard would have immediately known he was the rookie that downed Crocodile and captured/killed him in the bar. Blackbeard already possessed Yami Yami at Mock Town, though he deliberately did not use it.

Is it possible that paramecias when they awaken, they awaken in different ways?
For example, Bonchan awakens, instead of how Doffy did, he can transform into someone without having the need to touch them, just by seeing them.

Total headcanon, but I figured Paramecias that create a subjstance, (Like Dofla, Magellan, Mr. 3 and maybe Barto) gain the ability to turn the environment into the substance. Paramecias that just alter the user's own body (Luffy, Bege, Bonchan, Daz) could work this way to, applying whatever the change they experience to the environment. But those misc Paramecias (Robin, Law, Diamante) already fuck with the environment so I have no idea what they would do awakened.

The splitup was because the fleet needed attention too. The crew isn't inundated, but having nine crewmates AND seven new fleet commanders AND Law AND Rebecca AND Kyros AND the three Wano samurai AND Caesar would have meant focusing on 23 different important characters at the same time. Oda was innundated. So cutting that down to 17 for the Dressrosa battle, and then pairing a few up for fights meant we only had 15 or so big teams to focus on. It doesn't mean when the crew is alone again that things will be too crowded with nine. Far from it, we could easily add two, three, even four more faces and I think the crew could easily manage.
