Things for nurses are surely different from region to region. In my case the system has reduced nursing professionalism in the last 5 years so new graduate nurses are little more than glorified maids.
Better healthcare doesn't have to be more expensive. And even if it's expensive now it won't have to be in the future. Currently the world is gradually catching up to deal with the explosion of bariatric patients, so there are things to be hopeful about
