Not really. For the page in question i could see that it's Kaneki from his black get-up and that it would made a lot of sense for him to appear at this moment. The same was true for the notorious Urie spread: even though i wasn't sure what was going on from purely visual perspective the story that led up to the moment made it clear what was going on. I would imagine that a person with less experience in stories (i.e. underage) could have problems understanding those scenes.
Which is perfectly fine, there is no shame in being underage, if only the culture of today didn't encourage people to vocalize their shitty opinions calling Ishida hack, saying chapter was shit etc. Lurking should be encouraged by making people feel like shit for having shitty opinions.

It sometimes even rectifies THS mistakes, such as Uta saying Kaneki was attracted to older women (as opposed to older women being attracted to him, which is what was actually said.) But it also makes mistakes (eg. not translating how Hide "hated" Nishiki thought he was "poisonous" correctly, and instead making it seemed like Hide thought Nishiki disliked him.) Neither are perfect.
I cross-read THS and Viz in my readings, and there aren't many glaring differences beyond Viz being more localized and THS being more direct.

The more you start reading Japanese the less you stop caring about that. There's a lot of things that tell a lot about the relationships between characters and situations, honorifics is just one of them. Localizations that removes honorifics is sad but so are the scanlations that keep them but don't translate the other little things correctly. Those are worse because it's more difficult to spot, it's tiny nuances here and there, a little of it every chapter. Your only choice if you want to completely grasp it is to learn Japanese unless you're lucky enough to have a group dedicated to make the translation seem as natural and correct as possible. That's almost a miracle nowadays.

Not knowing anything about the law and then trying to discuss it with me? I guess the regulation is different from country to country, but I've never heard of a death penalty given for it, so it's usually everywhere a death sentence. And, at least in america. It accounts for one thing (cannibalism), the murder isn't even specifically taken into account here, just the cannibalism. There also isn't a specific law against it like murder so to speak. I guess it's just a major social taboo. That's the only law for it.

You may be right about the second one, but this is exactly why they should find a solution so that the casualities get reduced. If corpses are given to ghouls on a regular basis you could save quite a bunch of human lives. It's nigh-impossible to end all casualities, where humans get killed in order to get consumed, but minimizing it is, and should be the top priority, not fighting fire (CCG) with fire (ghouls)
And about the first part, excuse me, but especially humans, harm hundreds of thousands of animals on a daily basis (if not way more) whether it'd be hunting them down or butchering them so that they can be consumed. We don't know exactly how many ghouls exist. 1 ghouls per 100 humans, or 1 ghoul per every 10 humans? It would just be an endless war that would probably never end as neither species would ever fully go extinct, and would just end up in the populations death rate rising through the roof.
