The same was true for the notorious Urie spread: even though i wasn't sure what was going on from purely visual perspective the story that led up to the moment made it clear what was going on. I would imagine that a person with less experience in stories (i.e. underage) could have problems understanding those scenes.

Kaneki clearly isn't going to die, so either he wins or escapes somehow. Honestly, it's clear how far from a normal ghoul/human's abilities he's gotten. Yomo, Ayato and Touka at the same time couldn't even touch Arima. Kaneki can probably do more himself than the three combined. Prior to eating Eto he already dealt with her easily immediately after regaining his memories and losing an arm, and Eto was able to at least fool around with Arima before escaping with Yoshimura. If Kaneki can use his kakuja while staying reasonably sane he should be more than a match.
Alternatively, what I really hoped for would be Eto and Kaneki vs. Arima. That would be really interesting to see and I doubt even Arima could solo those two alone. Eto's got to have some reason for throwing herself into cochlea this chapter when all this shit is going on, so what the hell is her goal now? Also free Donato.
