So what's this new show that came out after Solid State Society? Last I bothered looking it up, I read that it was 50 minute episodes every few months and wasn't a continuation of the SAC universe. I was fine with the movies being a separate entity from the anime, but I really hated the idea of THIS new anime being a new universe too

I'm not a waifufag but I have to say I do feel a special affinity with her character. Especially that scene near the end of the first SAC when section 9 is disbanded, Batou is like "wtf will we do now?" and she's hyped.
I kind of wish that my life were more extreme so I had more of those moments. I always enjoy them when they happen. We have that in common.
