Dumping a few chapters of Sangokushi whenever I have time now that it's completely translated.
Recap of story so far: War between Cao Cao and Yuan Shu grinds to a halt due to bad weather. Liu Bei agrees to serve as Cao Cao's agent to help plot Lu Bu's downfall.
For those who don't know what this is, it's a faithful adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Yokoyama Mitsuteru, the mangaka of Tetsujin 28, Giant Robo, Mars, etc. The art isn't amazing but if you've ever wanted to get into Three Kingdoms but didn't feel like slogging through book, reading this is the easiest way. The 2010 Chinese TV series was alright too, but that skips out on some fun arcs.

I hope there are actually plums.
In the early parts of RotTK, I feel that there's more emphasis on individual heroism than on the cunning mind-reading genius you get with guys like Sima Yi, Lu Xun, Pang Tong, or Kongming later on. Jia Xiu feels like a prelude as to the kind of character that'll come to dominate the later parts of the novel.
And that's the end of the dump for today.
Thank you.
