I'm rereading Part 4 and things like Shigechi's Harvest arc have a fuckton of dialogue. I think they're going to cut there and there to fit this and other arcs in 2 episodes and so.

Pucci's incredible luck is a major plot point in Part 6. You're supposed to interpret Pucci getting everything in life handed to him and never having to face the consequences of his actions as divine intervention, and contrast that with Jolyne and especially Weather Report getting the short end of the stick constantly throughout the part. It's especially obvious with Weather Report, since he struggles constantly against his fate as the world's punching bag by pulling off miracles with his stand. Despite all of his efforts he gets forced out of commission on more than one occasion, and eventually dies by freak accident for his troubles.

How many times do we have to go through this?
First of all, would it even be able to predict the time stop? Remember when it first happened to Polnareff, DIO doesn't have to yell THE WORLD in order to activate it, so Diavolo would have to first figure out what's going on.
Secondly, King Crimson erases time and causes, but it keeps effects. So, if Giorno were to walk some where and time skipped, he would be at the place he was walking to without walking there. Similarly, if DIO were to stop time, the cause would be removed, but the effect of time stopping would still be there. And because stopped time happens outside of measurable time and is not affected by the flow of time, it can therefore not be erased by King Crimson.
Even if it could erase what DIO does in stopped time, it would still keep the effects of what DIO would do, which would be killing Diavolo. This would also mean that in every future Epitaph predicts, Diavolo dies.

Essentially each time a new Act came up to bat it was used for that scenario and then never again, which still adds up to at least three times. KC probably could do them and would be very good at them, but Diavolo was all about remaining hidden and taking out opponents before he's noticed, which is why KC only ever did single attacks to kill immediately and not fuck around with Stand rushes. KC is more function over form, which ties in with Diavolo's spiel about only the results being of importance.

Nobody beats King Crimson one on one, but SP can beat 99% of stands one on one but doesn't struggle against groups like KC does. Only reason Diavolo is so strong is because his sheer skill (being able to misdirect groups) and secrecy compensate for his stand's weaknesses.
D4C is probably a better all around stand than SP, that isn't ridiculously overpowered, but it doesn't exist in that universe. D4C also has the drawback that you have to be abandoned in another universe if you're injured. Worst stand to actually have desu
But the real GOAT stands are GER, Love Train, and MiH. pretty much unbeatable aside from a few counters, or in GER's case his limited offense.

That was only Roundabout though, Walk Like An Egyptian was chosen because it was released in 1988 and Last Train Home because it fit thematically. There hasn't been a solid scheme for picking ED songs so far, they were all selected for different reasons and it could go either way for DiU or even have an ED picked for a completely different reason. He probably listened to all of them while working on the manga, but the reasons given were those.
