I thought SBR was pretty bad over all. It was a huge disappointment that dragged on for far too long. I really think everyone overhypes it. Still, the ending was pretty great. Everything gets amazing as soon as Valentine steals the corpse at the end of Civil War. I laughed like a bitch when Tusk tore open the dimensional wall. The problem is that it takes far too long to get to that kind of stuff.

Is Killer Queen after Yoshikage is stabbed a second time by the Arrow transformed into a Requiem stand?
I mean, I know it doesn't change appearance like GER or SCR, but it functions in a rather similar manner. Yoshikage, when he was stabbed, had no other desire than to be able to escape suspicion and get back to his normal life- Bite The Dust allows him the potential to do just that, in a manner that is reality-breaking in line with GER and SCR.
I know Araki is horrifically inconsistent and this was likely not intentional, but I can't help but feel it was at least in the same "arrow a second time grants the ability to gain desires" train of thought.

I liked it more than Stone Ocean. It was tough to read most of it plus the final fight was a buzz kill but once the fresh translation arrive, I'll be sure to reread and enjoy it more. Hopefully the colored ones won't take any more than 2 years from now or else the VA anime will keep us covered by thenand the censoring will be off the charts.

this, but only because Araki doesn't deviate from his formula for a jojo part. but to be fair a lot of the minute details can catch someone by surprise, more so than most other manga.
My criticism of the series is that the series feels a lot less organic post part 4, something like the rat fight where Araki took a real life inspiration and naturally worked it into his story. It's a lot worse now for example josefumi going "this is grafting" and just plastering on his themes and having characters awkwardly clash together. Don't get me wrong there are good moments like the sugar mountain's spring/ tatoo! you fight, I know it might just be preference but i can't be the only who feels this way right? the character interactions have just gotten so "down to business" and i feel like he works in a few moments of "fun" just because he has to. and he doesn't "massage" the themes into the story instead just plasters it on more frequently for more and more fights. What I'm trying to say is that a year goes by very quickly

no, it's hard to explain. but when something feels more natural it just branches off of the existing stuff better. not to say that it doesn't branch off at all, since plants and such are kind of a recurring theme. but it just doesn't happen as well as before.
If you want a movie example if you've ever seen 28 days later. there's a scene where a zombie looks at a mirror for a few seconds then just walks away from it. it understood that the mirror was just a reflection and played into the theme of "is it okay to kill zombies they're people after all" which seems to be a common struggle. since it gave them some semblance of intelligence.
if you've seen ex machina they show this scene where the guy cuts open his arm to see if he's a robot or not. the scene is dramatic but only because of how he's going about it, although you see the inner "confusion about identity thing" you can obviously see that one scene is a little less out of place.

I think I get you. There's a lot of details in JoJo, especially newer JoJo, that feel arbitrary. Like Jotaro growing up to be a Doctor in Marine Biology, that's just completely out of nowhere, makes no sense given his previous character and is never relevant anyways. And the reason he doesn't have any Killer Queen in his Stand is because presumably Kira loses killer queen in exchange for his liver/life, based on the end of the last chapter. There's no Killer Queen to be mixed with Soft and Wet.
BUT, I think you're right about him being more Josefumi than Kira, based on the clementine being an uneven fusion and the fact that his age was originally estimated to be 19, which is Josefumi's age.
He does have a little of Kira's personality though. Which is fun.

Gaooy did detonate a bubble in the Aphex Twins fight so he adopted a little bit of KQ, but it's mostly S&W because KQ is gone. I believe it was also said that Josefumi took from Kira to form Gappy, not the two of them mixing together.
