Honestly, I am joking, but I am a little annoyed that Deku keeps killing himself and won't stop. What kind of hero sacrifices themself and thus is rendered unable to save more? Reminds me of Reiji's backstory in World Trigger. How a rescue worker is only good if they come back alive. If they die or become disabled from self sacrifice, they can't save anyone else again.

TBF we see over and over that he can do quite a bit without using his quirk and that in fact other heroes, pro heroes even, do quite a bit of work without a quirk. Eraserhead, Stain, 3/4ths of the pussycats (maybe half, not sure how much elasticity he was using in that fight), and I'm sure plenty of others don't really rely on their quirks all of the time.
I think following the same story except with a quirkless Deku could still be very entertaining as long as it doesn't enter Batwank territory.
Hell even the story of Deku NOT getting into the school and becoming lets say a police officer in a world full of superheroes, who has to get buy just with his training and understanding of -everyone else's- quirks.

It's pretty decent. The good thing about the power is that it's not really going to get stronger. There is no demon that comes out when he's in trouble to wreck everyone. He's got his set strength that's either 0 or 100.
However, sometimes the series can get repetitive. Basically Deku just uses his most powerful attack all the time, screams a lot, breaks his arms, and gets healed again. It showed promise when he learned to control his strength output, but I'm not really liking the direction they've been taking it recently. I've been a bit up in the air after the last arc. He seemingly went over his set limit to beat a bad guy. He went over 100% by releasing the limiters on his muscles.

The whole first one-shot led up to him being powerless but train really hard to face all the odds. Which he did. They could simply have made a bigger time jump. Although that premise sounds interesting I think for the world we've been shown it'd be too difficult to have him actually be effective and keep up. Also with the power he gets it changes the dynamic from simply underdog trying to be the best to kid working to reach the potential that he's been gifted with. He's got a great quirk but now he has to earn it. And honestly I just like the characters. They're charming and fun to read. I like deku and his determination. Bakugou and his assholish pride. All Might and his literal everything. It's a comfy read i don't have to take seriously and can just enjoy.

So after seeing that One For All was created when All For One mixed with an innate quirk that Sensei's brother didn't know he had, my assumption is that One For All simply grants you the combined abilities of all its previous wielders.
Since the first owner of it didn't have any prior users, it didn't manifest any outward power, which would explain why he didn't think he even had a quirk.
It would also explain the whole deal with Deku seeing all the previous wielders in the vision during the school tournament.

So detective has a good chance at being traitor, but what about Kirishima? Guy so far has always egged on the path that basically breaks the rules, and justifies it as being 'bro' yet he never really does anything to named villains.
Hell he was the only guy who didn't land a hit on the trio at USJ, and he was conveniently stuck with Bakugou and making friends with him, the same Bakugou who now got kidnapped. Hell he's even the guy egging the students to go outside during the last arc. He basically never agrees with the teachers, but can never be criticized because everyone thinks he's a lughead.
Better yet, he's also got an incredibly similar quirk to Tetsutetsu, but what if that's not the whole extent of his quirk? What if it's just the surface layer? What if he's that fucking gigantic spiky godzilla and his hair basically grows out SSJ3 style when he reveals himself? Wouldn't it make sense why the godzilla had a hidden face and didn't show up so far? Because Kirishima was there the whole time.
Basically once they find out Detective is Blackmist, they will struggle but ultimately do alright with the intervention of the students, but then it turns out it was keikaku doori and All Might ends up dying.
