Fans have read the light novels and the drama cds and are still biting at the bit for more.
Volume 10 can't come quickly enough.
The overlord LN is interesting, it makes you wonder how the npcs will develop their own wills, and to a lesser extent you get to see Ainz rapid decent into becoming a monster.
That's one side, the other is a borderline Lovecraftian horror novel when told from the perspective of the poor humans.
