I'm going to repost what an anon said last thread since people keep wanting him to play random decks for shilling purposes.That would undermine his character development. In the beginning he only cared about strength, not caring if he sacrificed others. His Dart deck showed that, with him sacrificing his other monsters to improve the attack of the main one. Then, later on, he picked up Monarchs to show a lust for revenge, creating an entire deck to beat Pendulums with a Spell destroying effect., which also utilized a sacrificing way of bringing out stronger monsters. As he fought Yuya for the second time, he had grown, still wanting payback for his loss, so his deck revolved around countering Pendulums, but also bringing out his true personality. His Daibak represents himself and his want of being front and center. He would blow away other, less important characters in favor of showing off huge, flashy power. However, he showed how he still respects those smaller players showing how he resummoned them every turn and let them show what they could do. His final deck, the apex of his character, is represented in Abyss Actors. His personality and desire is to be the Big Star, and is able to play many different roles and be very flexible (different spells he equips to Big Star). He knows though, that the most important part is entertaining the audience. He's able to tell a story, especially in the Yugo fight, of a Heroine and Rookie being given a monstrous task of defeating a dragon. He showed how well he can duel while still providing a great and eye catching performance, which is his true desire. I think the writers have beautifully enraptured his character in his decks, and giving him random archetypes just to shill them is a terrible idea.

So, what can we expect tonight?
It's Yuya's turn and he just pendulum summoned 5 monsters at once. Meanwhile Jack can nuke all of those monsters plus the pendulum zone monsters. So I'm expecting Yuya to get an action card to save himself from the nuke effect.
Ideally Yuya could use Timebreaker to remove Tyrant from the field leaving Jack open to the rest of the monsters. In fact, if Yuya could survive the nuke effect with an action card, he could have his horse give Odd Eyes Tyrant's attack and lower Tyrant's attack by 2500, then have Timebreaker remove it from the field to OTK Jack with Odd Eyes.
But that'd be boring, Yuya will probably do the Entertainment thing and Nirvana High Paladin's effect first, fail, because of Jack's trap, get nuked and we'll get some more cards from Dark Illusions or maybe more backlog or shit, maybe some way for him to play Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon. I just want a card that can have you set a scale using one of your face up extra deck pendulum monsters already.

Photon Dragon itself isn't too bad and has good ED support. The main issue is getting it into your hand consistently. Because of the lack of search power in either of the archetypes, you have to lucksack your way through things. By including off-archetype search/draw power that might work, you sacrifice the ability to consistently be capable of SUMMONING Photon Dragon.
This support and other cards like it would take a few steps towards "fixing" the deck.
