I haven't been to my local weeb store in a few months. I have only ever bought gunpla, since most of the anime merch they sell is cheap shit from China, a few over priced figs and whatever licensed anime/manga is popular at the time (SAO and AoT last time I went). It's an alright store and the ladies that run it seem nice enough. Figures are definitely more expensive than buying them from Japan yourself, but the gunpla is decently priced and comes out to about the same cost as buying and shipping from Japan, but their selection is small.

Yeah, they've restocked everything I've seen go out of stock so far. It's usually unannounced and doesn't show up on the amiami new release list, so you'll have to manually check every week or so. You have to look at it for a good while before you realize what everything's supposed to be, only made worse by the 'I just took my first art class!" level of color choice that somehow manages to make everything blend together rather than make the important areas pop.
I got spm miku (christmas version) in the mail, shes huge! Also her detail is really good for a prize figure. I'm quite impressed.

Believe me, that is not necessary. Just use superglue, if it's the same that stores sold in my country is more than enough to hold a head. I've used it to sustain the entire weight of a 1/7 (I broke the base) and it holds up perfectly.
Just make sure to buy it in a hardware store or similar, AND TO USE AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. I use a pin to apply it, that's how little you have to use.
