Hollow/Ataraxia which somehow managed to be so irrelevant in the grand scheme that it took Prisma Illya to make the new characters it introduced to have some sort of relevance outside of it.

It's an accessibility problem in my opinion, the problem isn't the VN itself, as the VN is great if you're a Fatefag, objectively.
English patch came out late (count 10 years later people already read and discovered FSN) and is still fairly badly translated anyway. Also HA is mainly slice & life and insensitive / young / normie people aren't exactly into slice & life so you all that's left isn't a huge fanbase.
