I thought Mahler 2 at the finale of season 2 was remarkably well done. And the opening of Mahler 3 always has a LoGH connotation to me.

Tchaikovsky's 4th symphony on Suzumiya as well as Mahler's and Wagner's work was very well done.
I even like the use of Debussy on the Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, specially "The snow is dancing" from Children's corner during a snow scene.
But well, nothing bets nodame in therms of music anyway.
