We got some new spilers from BD6 related to Ainz and Ulbert:While they travel through Nazarick it's revealed that Ainz and Ulbert only have the most basic of education (about elementary school level). While they reminisce about their past they talk about how their parents died: Ulbert's parents died in a hazarous work environment and the insurance paid poorly, while Ainz mother died of exhaustion at the kitchen while making Ainz's favourite dish.Apparently Touch-Me is the exact opposite of them: he had a happy childhood, loving parents, is rich (don't know for sure if he's rich or if his wife is rich) and has a loving wife and child, but part of that we alredy knew so no suprises there.

Bit different in wording, but it's still the same. Ainz means that he's confirming that the NPCs at their heart are still loyal to their creators more than Ainz himself, but at the same time he's using it to mock Shalltear's loyalty towards him. But most importantly it's Ainz's way of verifying whether or not Shalltear believes Ainz knows about her skills or not. Her confidence shown basically tells Ainz that she has no idea that he knows everything about her, and that the plan is going smoothly.
The manga is already better than the anime by a wide margin in terms of consistency, only problem is Shalltear doesn't start out in her armor, which was noted in vol 3 because she had to put it on to fight PDL's armor and there's no reason for her to take it off in that blank mode of hers. Other than that this fight has been pretty spot on with skipping details versus making shit up like the anime.

Well those are the only confirmed tortured kills. We don't have the fate of the rest of Heavy Masher, Erya's elven slaves, or any of the nearby Adventurers who were guarding the camp with Momon.
We can probably assume they died in some horrible manner though, given Ainz's attitude towards them(Aside from the adventurers who were most likely kept alive to keep up Momon's appearance and report the deaths)

This and the Albedo conversation in the "Mausoleum" are probably my favorite moments in Overlord.
Both the anime and the manga got them about 80% right, which is a little disappointing. And I'm far from an LN purist, most changes made in adaptations of this kind are usually for the best. Just not in this specific particular case.

That's cause Overlord changes are practically retcons, while others are made for the purpose of self-containing the story. Like there's no point in the Shalltear vs BS change if you're gonna show Kid Captain at the end reporting to the higher ups which is as far as we know, completely original scene since it's glossed over in vol 4 intermission. All it does is grab interest in the viewers wanting to know what happens, but then if they skip vol 1-3 and go straight into the novels they instantly get confused in vol 4 when KC talks to CD or worse, might get the wrong impression that BS is so filthy rich they consider divine-tier weapons as poorfag.
It's understandable for Albedo to have a more hourglass figure with her armor for sex appeal, but then why take away the shield? How are you the best tank in Nazarick holding an axe with both hands?

They needed something "fierce" from NW to test it and chose the shady element of combatants, mercs for money.
And even then Ainz gave them second chance, albeit indirectly but all of them were too comfy in their lifestyles and thought they had seen it all with risk calculation.
They might have gotten off easy if they had proven themselves worth the saving roll during their trip to the ruins but alas, nothing.
And then Ainz lost his marbles and ran off by feelings after Hekkeran tried to fool him and his pitiable and unattainable wish.
