Without a backdoor, there absolutely is. The only hope for cracking even an average code by today's standards, would be with quantum computing. Our best supercomputers would some insane figure of years (like in the billions or something, look it up) to crack something like Veracrypt.
The key is "backdoor," which is why I asked about social engineering. While these encryptions can't be bruteforced, you can bruteforce the programmer to give you the master key if it exists.

what do you mean by this? the consumer creates their own key. I have some encrypted stuff that no one, not even the NSA, could access without forcing me to spit out the passphrase (that I created, and made long/complex).
If it fails, it's either because the company was crooked kept backdoors (master keys), or the consumer didn't put enough effort into creating their key (or they got a bullet to the kneecap and gave it up voluntarily).

You don't "crack the code". This isn't fucking Hackers. You capture the stream after it's decrypted OR you exploit vulnerabilities in the system that bypasses the encryption scheme altogether. Since most software (even proprietary) shares common languages and platforms, a vulnerability in another organization's code can present itself as an exploit for your own.
Most companies realize this and push for legal ramifications to even attempt to bypass media encryption (i.e. DMCA).
