I liked it a lot. Plot was kinda doofy but it was incredibly stylish and fun, Ishihama has a great style. Characters are cute and very expressive. Them exploring the human world was wonderful. My biggest complaint was the amount of expository speech, I feel like the story would've been better off maybe a bit more vague, or perhaps not delivered so explicitly? Like the entire musical sequence conveyed a lot, and it was visually exciting and fast paced without needing words to it. When you have a character just ramble off plot points it slows things down a bit.

Completely original. Director(or was it producer?) said they crowdsourced hundreds of creators to come up with ideas to fill up a movie and they narrowed it down to a handful at last year's Singapore AFA.
