It had good character animation during sakuga sequences basically. It felt like most Kyoani shows though where a lot of the Sakuga scenes didn't really feel as if they warranted it other than to distract people from all the LN Cliches. It's kind of like what SHAFT does with Monogatari and all the quick cuts, flashing texts and fanservice shots only with actual animation during the fanservice and slow mo sequences as the distraction instead
