Because of the absence of new garupan material, I'm beginning to show withdrawal symptoms. I started thinking about the schools we haven't seen yet and wondering about their tanks, behavior and tactics. Do the Hungarian and Swedish schools burry their hulls and use their turrets as pillboxes? Does the Polish school put hussar wings on their tanks?
Before I knew it, I had stepped into fanfic territory and made up my own Rhodesia themed school. If you'll excuse my faggotry and if anyone is interested, I would like to elaborate on my idea in the thread.

Rhodesia the country wouldn't exist until the 1960s but before that Rhodesia was the name of an area in the south-African commonwealth. Colonials from this area fought with allies in Egypt and Italy during the war. These forces used the same Shermans as the British but they did have something unique.
The T17E1 combat car was an American design that was rejected by the Americans in favor of other designs. However, it was widely used by Rhodesian colonials due to its high speed and firepower. The car used the same turret and 37mm gun as the M3 Lee, the armor was thin and it used wheels instead of tracks but it had an impressive top-speed and the Rhodesians upgraded it by fitting it with crusader turrets, 6-pdr guns and British 75mm guns.

The senshado team would use their Lee turret T17s scout and harass the opponent. They would lure the enemy into kill zones where they would get ambushed by waiting fireflies. Their offensive tactics would be to use their Shermans for covering-fire and distractions while the 6-pdr equipped T17s would rush the enemy flag-tank.
The schools emblem would be based on the patch I posted before and the senshado uniform would incorporate the classic Rhodesian olive drab short-shorts. The only thing missing is a name for the school.

From my experience, I did greatly like WoT's map design moreso than Warthunder's. And although I disliked the very pay2win model on consumables, I did like that each vehicle had slots for custom upgrades to give it an extra level of personalization. I translated Yukari's character song, because there was no translation on animelyrics. A lot of words sounded untranslatable but googling revealed them to be tank terms (of course!). It's a touching song about Yukari finally being happy about being a tank nerd, because it connected her with everyone, I like it a lot. English is stiff, as usual.

As I understand the problem was not technical or even production. There was argument in 1930s about how would Luftwaffen be developed, the two main lines of thought where A) go with strategic longrange bomber force that can hit enemies far behind the frontlines or B) tactical bombers that would cut the enemy supply lines close to the frontlines.
Why the B choice won has many reasons but one of the things is is that a major supporter for the longrange bomber force died in plane crash when the decision between the two ways was being made.

Nigga, they had more armor on the REAR of the tank than some tanks had to the front. They were NOT "well protected only from the front". If you were to mention the Panther (a medium with late-war-heavy-level protection to the front but interwar-light-level protection to the sides, we'd be talking about a tank "well protected only from the front".
