Yeah, but the plot isn't entirely stupid.
Battle-Deacon wants to recover the sacred relic of his church which was stolen, yeah that's not exactly the end of the world but it's a valid motive for trying to wreck the island.
I liked that Strike the Blood stayed mostly small-time ordinary motives, and not everything was the end of the world or whatever.
It's generic, but it's not particularly pretentious, and that was refreshing.Season 2 never ;_;
