Also, enemy are literally zerg-like ancient ayyliums that eat people and stuff and are so powerful that actually no mech can become gundam (wont be, either, since the show's about 1st and early 2nd generation mech-variants of the MiG-21 and 23 that are basically grunts).
The setting is Cold War Era East-Germany in during Ayylium Apocalypse, and the protagonists are NVA-soldiers/pilots.

Apparently 36mm somehow turned to 600mm, and 120mm changed to 800mm while I was out.
