I enjoy stuff with 'light' horror elements as well like Berserk, Parasyte etc. monsters and fucked up situations are always good.
Never actually watched horror anime that would have legit given me creeps, which is kinda odd honestly. Seems like a great format for horror.
Mononoke was great really but not that spooky.
