Not gonna play /a/'s choose between the gimmick SHAFT character game, but instead going to say that it was nice to see Chiwa Saito get to play a character again recently that wasn't a completely insufferable cunt. That games fucking ridiculously exploitative even by Japanese mobage standards. They know they have guaranteed income from Fate Waifu fanatics so they can just rig the Gacha pretty much never to shit out the servants people really want so that gullible idiots will keep pumping money in and doing pulls like that strung out looking guy that spends his whole day sitting at the same slot machine in the casino except instead of comping people they ban people them from exploiting loopholes to actually get multiple of the rare cards that they themselves created and just constantly have it be under maintenance as a result of their own incompetence. Even then it'll still be among the top 4 apps whenever there's an event and at least top 20 when there isn't so nothing is going to get any better with it or more fair to the player. It seems like pretty much everybody who isn't a sucker has already abandoned it though.
By comparison I've been playing FFRK which is incredibly generous with it's Gacha's, giveaways and events and what not. It's like they actually appreciate being able to retain an audience instead of just shitting on and finding new ways to exploit their loyalty to the Final Fantasy brand. What did Fate/Grand Order even do for it's audience after the last major maintenance and on it's anniversaries and milestone downloads and what not?
