At first I thought it was about people doing racing and tricks with futuristic roller blades, but later it turned to be about people fighting with roller blades and I had to drop the series. Air Gear was one of the first series I picked up when I was first getting into Anime.
I fucking loved when it started but after the anime finished and it started involving Tuners, I got a bit lost.
I did really enjoy the anthropomorphism (I can't think of a better word) of their spirit, like how Ikki was a crow and Agito was a shark, Onigiri was a pig and all that sort of stuff. It was great.
The technobabble was enjoyable for a bit and at least they tried to explain how it all worked which I thought was interesting.
