Chapter felt short, but at least it made me chuckle quite a bit.
I don't really get what the author intent is with this manga; Baseball manga can be divided between the one where it's all bout mind tricks, the coming of age story, and the full-on sports approach. Seems to me he tries to do everything here.

There's a term in baseball for the pitcher/catcher combination (battery) so I have to imagine it's important.
The catcher is the one able to catch the ridiculous pitches of a strong pitcher, and the catcher is the one who directs and guides the pitcher for their throws.

The catcher also has to throw the ball to the different bases in order to trap opponents who got on base so that the team can get outs.

That, and truly abysmal series are the only ones that get canned that quickly, like E-Robot.
