I think it depends in what you're looking at in terms of Digimon.
If you like an actual adventure and feeling like a 10 year old again, it'd be Adventure but if you like Digimon for lore and characters, you'd probably pick Tamers.

I rewatched both recently and while I really like Adventure, Tamers is better written in my opinion. Both (or most Digimon series in fact except maybe 02 but after the first 30 episodes it goes full shit) suffer from the same thing: really fucking slow beginning.
Tamers end boss was way better than Adventure end boss, but Dark Masters was a fun arc to watch and lead to a lot of development to the kids.

I'd like to say Frontier is actually sort of okay if you can get used to it not having partner Digimon (which definitely hurts it in the long run). It does have some cool Digimon designs and its take on Digimon lore is good too. It even has a full time actual adventure which was really missing from the franchise. Also the OST is fucking godly
It's just that it becomes really clear the writers like Kouji a LOT and since Kouji isn't the main character, Takuya is included (Takuya has some great solo episodes on that note. Remember when he became Ardamon?). The other kids start out as about as relevant as them and then get solely pushed to the side and this is Frontier's biggest fault is that they've unfortunately made this story that could easily include the other kids but somehow forgot they had to actually do things too. The story turns to dogshit too in general.
The other kids actually have Fusion Evolutions too. It pissed me off they were never used in show

I don't put my self through the torture of completing anime just to say I finished arbitrary number of anime.
That said I do finish some as guilty pleasures but I have to enjoy some aspect of it.

They never acknowledged any ships in Digimon after 02 but they still teased it. Takato really liked Juri (and had some tease with Ruki at some points), Junpei liked Izumi who sort of liked Takuya and Xros had Taiki and Akari as well as Kiriha and Nene (who was crushed on by Zenjirou as well) who actually did look like they become a thing by Hunters.
Xrox even had the first confirmed Digimon pairing in Stingmon and Lilamon. I think Bastemon liked Taiki too
