- Overall, it is indeed excellent. More than 2 years worth of hype is fully answered and I am way more satisfied than I had ever expected. Based GuP, based Mizushima. 10/10 god bless them all.
- Tank porn, tank porn, and more tank porn.
- Damn that sound effect. Thank god I watched it at a theater.
- Alice, the new loli, is actually a university student and the the captain of the university team. Also her tank is Centurion and she is indeed good.
- The final match is the United High Schools vs. the All-Universities Team. Though I am not sure about the later's name. The match type is elimination with 30 tanks for each team.
- The opponent team is consisted of mostly Pershings, along with the captain's Centurion, a T28 and, believe me or not, Mörser Karl. The best line-up so far.
- The MVP of the day goes to Anzio. I am not even kidding here. Anchovy, Carpaccio, and Pepperoni performed the best reconnaissance and the victory would have been impossible without their contribution. Italy should be proud.
- That new Chiha-tan team knows, just like their tame, only to BANZAI CHARGE. Later on they learned to use some tactics as well and did excellent job.
- The last showdown is between Miho (Panzer IV) and Maho (Tiger1) vs. Alice (Centurion). It is definitely on par with the final battle of the TV series.
- Maho has a Panzer II at home and, according to Miho's flashback, Maho used to take her sister out for drive with her Panzer II. The loli Maho diving Panzer II is the cutest thing of the whole movie.
- Thanks to the United High Schools Team, you can see the members of other teams dressed up in the Ooarai school uniform, though they later change to their usual ones.
- At the end I felt somewhat sad, just to think the whole Girls und Panzer anime has now come to its end. God I wish if I could go back to 2012 and watch the whole things for the first time again.
- Going to watch it again next week for sure. Watching it only once is simply unthinkable.

The proof is common fact. The T-34, for example, rendered every tank in the Wehrmacht obsolete from the beginning. Neither Britain or America had anything that could compete, and most of their own tank development was a reaction to German work that was itself a reaction to Soviet tanks. It explains why the Western Allies were so far behind.

The T-34 did have certain revolutions, but it by no means made all other tanks obsolete, as objectively it was rather average, and was more or less the peer of tanks like the Sherman and the Panzer IV. It had different strengths and weaknesses than it peers, but by no means was it superior on a 1 to 1 basis.
Hell, early model T-34's had small two-man turrets when German and US tanks of similar size had 3-man turrets as standard, and this isn't just an issue of size and comfort: the addition of the extra man in the turret for loader duty frees up the commander to be more effective at command, which is important at a tactical level - hell, the majority of T-34's didn't even have radios, when German and US tanks had them as standard! It wasn't until the T-34/85 that the T-34 even got such a feature.
And there was also the fact that T-34's suffered from chronic deficiencies in overall metallurgical quality: cracks and defects in the steel that formed seam weakspots were common, and vulnerable to spalling. While offset by the very design of the tank itself, these issues mean that the T-34's armor wasn't quite as tough as it potentially could be, and a year or so after it was introduced it was already being countered by newer German AT guns.
Another fact is the optics on the T-34 weren't up to par with US or German tanks in both quality and technology, reducing the long range combat capabilities of the vehicle.
This and many other known facts about the T-34's various weaknesses mean that one can't claim the USSR had the "best" tanks based on said tank.
