As i already said, Anison Matrix have been here for a long time, that marks a difference with other events that have never been. Also Anison matrix Event is the more /a/ related because it has a majority anisong themes.
There are a lot of other events but not much /a/ related, and we are walking on a thin line here.
NEW YEAR is a special so it's 50/50 /a/ related, but not all the music they pass is anisongs.
That's why i only make:
- Anison Matrix (this one has been streamed on /a/ for a long time)
- Mogra Anniversary (as a place/bar)
- Anison Matrix Anniversary
- New Year Countdown
As i already said in the past to another anon, I will only make Anison Matrix threads.
He said that he maybe would make a thread for that event on /jp/ so if you want to make one to, feel free to do it.
I don't know /jp/ rules or /jp/ at all, i'm only from /a/ and /w/.

Anison Index is a clusterfuck of animu songs/ost/op/ed, yet not mixed.Personally, I like it music-wise the most, as recently (last 1 year) anison matrix parties had become more untz then animu.
Anison Matrix is a compilation of remixes and general animu misuc that had been heavily tempered with by the dj's. It still bases mostly on anime music, but depends on the dj what's happening - it's still anime/aidoru/vocaloid themed.
Thread-wise, I'm against anything then Animix parties, it's the best time of the month and I don't want it to be ruined by over-frequent variations. It has the best flavor and comfyness levels throughout the board, it should be cherished.

As for season - nope, it's due to "golden week", meaning - all north of japan, including tokyo, goes south, and all of south, including kyoto and osaka, goes north (to tokyo or some resort towns). It's a clusterfuck, everything is stuck with a sea of people who have a literal vacation period then for a week. Been to japan before during that time, but it was ok since I pre-reserved everything in january.
