In episode 0 there's about 3 minutes of extra content, and it's the Reality Marble scene on the ruins of the old Shinto. We knew that from before the series started airing.
For episode 2, there's a scene at the beginning where Rin fixes Shirou's window, and there's a scene where they are walking to the church. They total to 2:40 minutes.
Keep in mind we knew about this three scenes from the BDs advertisements.

Fate/stay night turned out to be a huge disappointment for me, I expected a lot more. The more you think about it, the more this is bullshit. The fact that it gave this to Saber, that it gave the blade that represents the planet and all warriors throughout history, to someone who was squabbling over a territorial dispute that was doomed anyway. No Shirou isn't always servant level anything, he's never servant level anything really in any other route. In fact right before fighting Gilgamesh he says "Against any other servant I would lose, but against this guy I might win". In the other routes when he traces a blades history he says the sword is moving on its own, to the point that it's breaking his body to hold onto the sword. Only in HF does he trace far beyond that level to also advance his body to take the strain.
It's like most of the time the subtle difference is lost on people in UBW; he's not even close to servant level perhaps, but against this one guy, with the perfect weapon, with the perfect compatibility, and a little luck he can pull it off. If he was fighting Saber using a mock-up of Cu Cuthulain's fighting style he'd get his ass kicked instantly, if he was fighting Cu with a mock-up of Arthur's fighting style he'd get his ass kicked instantly. A true master of their craft would never fall for his mock-up fighting for an instant, against any other servant this would be a mild nuisance, but Gilgamesh falls for it because he's not a master of anything, he's just an owner of weapons.
In fact in Fate route he used a mock-up of Saber's powers against Gilgamesh and got cut in half instantly. It's odd how he wasn't phased by shit at all there but was in UBW, but we can chalk up part of it to him panicking.

I am more interested in how would they even do the routes.
I guess they could just translate them 1:1 into anime format. This really reeks of "this is a VN adaptation" but any adaptation of Tsukihime that doesn't have both of the maid routes at the same time is automatically inferior to the novel.
Would it even work out in a series format? Wouldn't it work better as a series of films? The routes are a lot shorter than FSN's routes and there are too many of them.

He isn't though, that sort of thing is directly talked about how it's tracing far beyond his level. Which is why its a big deal when he does it in HF when he has tracing infused into him so powerful that it's killing him.
Only exceptions to this might be Kansho and Bakuya, since it's noted in the data-book that they buff up DEF and SP.DEF when you're holding them both. That's a special ability of the blades in question. He isn't tracing stats at all though, it's a bit of a misconception when people think that.

Because we can see into the narrative every second, we can see Shirou's mind, and also the game itself explains what's going on in every point. this is one of the instances where we can indeed verify it. It's something far beyond him at the current level to do that without breaking. Which is why its noted that when the blades move by themselves normally when he traces someones fighting style and tactics he's breaking himself all over the place following the movements as it wounds the shit out of him to basically be dragged around by that car. In HF it's the first time we see him do this, and the narrative goes into how this is a big thing at the time that would normally be outside his territory and more into Archer's ability.
Archer is like 50x Shirou's level in tracing, projection, ability. He doesn't need to copy skills or tactics as much these days because he's honed his own style to a point where few can beat it, but he's got all the core abilities down far beyond what Shirou could do either way. There's a reason Shirou says he couldn't keep up with other servants even at his peak in UBW, but in HF he's able to do just that, at the cost of it killing him in a big way. He's obtained power far beyond what he should have at that point, at a particularly mortal cost of breaking down.

It's not a misquote, that's how his power works. His body is breaking because he can't handle that much power. Remember, it's not Shirou that does the fighting, it's the weapon that does, hence the whole his body moves with the flow of the weapon.
Something that people actually keep misquoting is the caliburn scene since they keep thinking that Caliburn became so strong due the sword and Saber being reunited, but nothing in the text supports that at all and the whole point of that scene is actually about Shirou's power hence it being titled "So as I pray, Unlimited Blade works."
