Here's a outline of what we're getting from anime
Post aogiri > Cochlea > Kanou? > Pre-Anteiku raid > Anteiku raid
I'm not sure how Ishida is exactly going to play this out since Cochlea arc is the most advertised but if he makes Kaneki join Aogiri then how would he make Kaneki react when Kanou joins the same side? What would he do if Aogiri gets Rize?

The better question is, what does Yomo plan to do with her aside from filling her kakuhou with his kagune? Yoshimura asked him specifically to capture her and put away. He didn't even tell Kaneki what the manager wants from her so it has to be important. Perhaps this has something to do with Orca's decision to join Aogiri? What if Owl and Orca are acquainted somehow? This wouldn't be surprising since they're very similar in character.

It was still popular before the anime. It's Vols sold about 300K on average.
They could of easily given it 24 episodes and stopped at the Aogiri Arc without skipping shit. Instead we got a shitty first season with a second season that's different from the manga.
