my honest opinion is that yorknew best arc killua best of the MC four
Remake was great.
Chimera ant arc was slow as fuck and the only good parts had little to nothing to do with the MCs
Dark continent could be hype though.
Chimera Ant (after Meruem is born) > Yorknew City > Greed Island > Hunter Exam > 13th Chairman Election > Chimera Ant (before Meruem is born > Heavens Arena > Zoldyck Family

Hardly anything at all has really happened, or that's what it feels like, atleast. It just doesn't have that same old feeling like the other chapters of HxH has.

True, but it is better than reading same shit over and over repackaged(fairy tail has been okay this arc but it's all Nakama powerespecially with Erza loosing all senses and then defeating Kyouka, because of just being Erzaand Naruto was just cringe worthy in War arc)
Also being a fan of Berserk makes you a little impervious to hiatuses.
HxH is fantastic, got me back on the shonen train, and gave me my first really hardcore girl-character obsession in a while, pic related (it's not quite a waifu, mostly because I want her to beat me up, but god I fucking love Palm Siberia).
I wish Togashi would finish it, but I get that with him and his wife drowning in money and all the other things going on (either injury or dragon quest-wise), it's gonna be hard to get the ending we want/deserve. I have a lot of questions that I suspect are just gonna go unanswered (like WHAT IS HISOKA'S DEAL TELL ME).

For me Gon is like an empty book waiting to be filled, as he will move he will evolve, moreover the lines between good and bad are blurred in HxH.
So Gon could range from a best friend willing to sacrifice everything to a monster annihilating everything contrary to his beliefs, which is the freshness required in Shonen.
