You can check out some tutorials on composition, that will help you a lot, regardless of what you end up making.

Looks like a good way to learn the basics. Next you might wanna learn about UV wrapping and textures, or maybe some animation, you could have the cloud slowly move by with the trees swaying. You could learn some particles to make it snow. Or you could just go on to the next project of whatever you wanna do. More landscapes, a character.
