Yeah I grouped it with other horror comedies fyi

TrollHunter is the best film by far mentioned in this thread, it rocks.
The Rite
Seventh Seal

The Conspiracy is the best movie mentioned.
Army of Darkness.

Watch Kill List for a better version of The Conspiracy.
the orginal Wicker man 1973
Good shit
>>17913072
a dude running around in a money suit didn't make it scary

monkey***

Just watched The Conspiracy on this recommendation. I thought it was solid.
>>17916365
I agree completely and I also think it's a movie whose visuals and concepts are much better than the film itself. The acid trip scenes with the visions of hell and stuff from the books of Revelation and Daniel I found to be extremely effective.
>>17913076
It's an amazing film. Let me know if you liked it.
>>17913026
I haven't heard of many of these so I'll definitely have to look them up...
but listen, OP, this guy listed:
> Resolution
> Kill List
These kick SO MUCH ASS.
>The Midnight Meat Train
is kinda fun.
>Videodrome
Only watch if you have an appreciation for the world of Moses Znaimer and the late 80s world of media excess.
And 10 Cloverfield Lane was overhyped and disappointing. Just my opinion.
>>17913068
> Jacob's Ladder
All-time favorite. Did things nobody else had done at the time. Don't miss this one.
>>17913109
> Troll Hunter
Watched it twice in the same day. WAY fun. Not scary at all just a friggin good time.
A personal favorite (pic related) is:
> Prince of Darkness
People kinda missed it when it came out but I thought it was genius, especially if you're religious. Again, did a lot of things that were copied in later years. Plus: Alice Cooper cameo. :)
Try "In The Mouth of Madness". A bit cheesy at times but I found it satisfying.

>And 10 Cloverfield Lane was overhyped and disappointing. Just my opinion.
the ending was just kind of blah. sure there was an alien, but it couldn't kill one little woman who was doing stupid stuff? alienigga please...
