Here's my dark ambient / noise project. Sorry to shill, but I figured it was pretty appropriate for this thread...
Anyone saved songs or links from the /x/ music thread some weeks ago? I think it was titled "music monsters would like" or something. I only scanned the thread and there were some good recommendations there but sadly didn't get to listen to all of it before it 404'd
Anyway, check out the album Hymn to the Immortal Wind, by Mono. It's my go-to dark ambient music.
This right here is my personal gold standard of music to browse great /x/ threads.
bonus points if you open another tab and add ambient rain and thunderstorm sounds softly in the background. none of this should be too loud though, as it should be mostly ambient music to hear in the background. goes great with spoop and mystery threads.
