She claims the chip can make her fall asleep at "P's" will and that is why she sleep sometimes upwards of 20 hours a day.
The cameras are set up so she can see what happens when she sleeps. There is a bit of confusion as to who set up the cameras, her or P.
She very rarely leaves the house or does much but sleep and wrote many signs to show the camera, usually about the conspiracy she believes there is (more recently about what pain she is in and her headaches, which she probably blames on the chip).
She has living this way for over 10 years and has been on the webcams all that time which makes it hard to believe it is an act. Word is her parents died and left her a huge inheritance, which is what P is after and might explain how she is still living with electricity and able to buy food and the like.
The general consensus is that she is a paranoid schizophrenic but some say she doesn't display traits that would be expected (she clearly doesn't mind being watched etc...). Apparently authorities in South Korea know of her but mostly ignore her as it seems mental illness is not very much addressed in their culture. They feel that she isn't a danger to society or herself so just leave her alone.
It is quite a sad story and you can't help but feel sorry for her but it is strangley fascinating.

It seems voyeuristic and what not, but she clearly wants to be seen and for people to "spread the message about P". When you realise that she is clearly very ill mentally, you wonder why no one is actually helping, but then when it looks like anyone is trying to on the cams, she turns people away.
I guess we can just hope it ends well for her.
