actually I think the sooner all that big drama starts the sooner it will be over and we can have nice clean peaceful Planet for our selves.

hey now, the whole Everest et al issue has *nothing* to do with your average actual, genuine, legit mountain climbers(who tend to be very decent folks who eat, breathe, live and preach "leave no trace", not to mention they have a level of respect of nature far exceeding that of 95% of the human race, you included, I promise you).
The garbage & pollution issues come from rich people from western countries who are NOT actual climbers, but because they have money, they're able to pay (ridiculously large amounts of money) to have their gear ported in and up by the indigenous mountain people who also arrange everything so that basically all they have to do is put one foot in front of the other to get to the top.
another issue beyond the actual human waste and garbage is the many ladders and "stairs" installed into the side of the mountain to make it "easier" for these people despite the fact that there is nothing super technical about Everests' more common routes in the first place.
it is a massive issue within the alpine community - these people tend to be massively ignorant, spoiled, disgusting wastes of human flesh who have no business being up there. not only do they leave the mountain littered but they readily endanger the lives of others - both the indigenous people, their team mates and actual climbers on differing teams) who work so hard in the face of very real danger all for the sake of said persons' "bragging rights".
