Hey guys.

I've been trying to solve this on my own for about a week with no results, so hopefully someone can give me a hand.

I've got a ZOTAC GTX 970 card installed at the moment. Both fans constantly run at full-blast, which creates jet-engine levels of noise. Additionally, the secondary fan (closer to the back of the case) creates a rather infuriating grinding noise when over about 80% speed (which, again, is all the time). Attempting to use speedfan/afterburner/firestorm has done nothing, and all of these programs seem to be unable to detect the fans' actual speed, although I can see them in the BIOS menu.

Anyone have any ideas on how to tackle this?

Both power connector and fan header are 4-pin, yes?

You could try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them. Ive heard some of the drivers have been killing cards etc

I've wiped the drivers and reinstalled from scratch, but haven't tried installing older drivers. Is this a recent issue?

You shouldn't have bought a fucking zotac. They're pieces of shit. When the fans run at full blast, it's because it's a flawed card.
