What's a good ereader for someone whose used to reading on a de-googled Android phone?
Are there other reliable brands besides Kobo, Nook and Kindle?
>>
i recommend a kobo glo hd. i own one and it's one of the best purchase i ever made. also, go for kobo because (most of their models) they have the "kobo night mode" mod: usually the background is white and words are black; well this mod will invert that, so that it's more easy to your eyes when yuo read at night. if you want to check it out, take a look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h08E068-RIU

Small warning if you like in the UK and considering a Nook.

I'll go with that then. Forgot for a second that e-ink screens have backlights too. Now that mod makes sense.
