Well, the only other one is Evangelion, and that had about the same effect. I'm not picky though, as long as I won't look like a complete degenerate by having it on my harddrive.

now that i really think about it there isnt really many animes that ive watched that didn't depress me.
i would recommend jojos bizarre adventure, but its fairly corny, though still fairly gripping. every male character is drawn sort of gay though.
although fairly episodic, gintama was pretty fun to watch, though theres so much of it i could never really hring myself to get into it.
a lot of mainstream stuff is usually mainstream for a reason. one punch man was pretty fun to watch, though its unfinished i believe.
my favourite anime is probably madoka magica, though it becomes increasingly depressing sort of like neon genesis and berserk. though its more obscure with its art direction and overall plot.

Gintama, Kyou Kara Ore Wa, Cromartie High School, Osomatsu-san and Crows are all funny as fuck. Kongo Banchou (pic related) is also quite fun.
