Second one I have no clue. Help?

I'm pretty sure that's chinese brah, probably traditional but I can't tell for sure since I don't really know much chinese besides the hanzi that's shared with japanese kanji.
The first one is 日本懷念金曲 and with google translate's help I can deduce it's "Yearned hits from Japan", with 懷念 being "yearned" or "missed" and 金曲 "hits".
I couldn't read the second one.

As someone who has about a middle-school level understanding of the language, I there's no way this is Japanese.
Looks Chinese to me.
I'm 99% certain 金曲 would mean "top hits (songs)" in this context like you said.
懷念 means "reminiscence" if Faye Wong's song is anything to go by.
And remember 日本 is also the Chinese word for Japan.
No idea what the fuck is going on with that character on the back.
I'd hazard a guess that you're looking at a "Top Japanese Breakup Songs" tape.
