My parents have an old laptop and it gets really fucking loud

My parents have an old laptop and it gets really fucking loud when browsing internet. I don't think these stats are even accurate, but trust me, it's loud. I've cleaned it thoroughly but it didn't really help at all. I tried using speedfan but i don't think the motherboard model is supported (asus a4000 A4L). What else can I do to make this pile of junk work? I'm alright with compromising the longevity of components for quietness.

i used to us speedfan but found http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html to be better.

if the cpu isn't shit and it has more than a gig of ram you can make it a decent porn box

if you're willing to invest any money in it get an ssd
