I'm trying to find an old cartoon (aired from the late 90's to early 2000's) that I used to watch when I was little about two kids who in every episode would go to a store where a man called Pierre tells them stories; fairy tales very similar to the ones written by the Grimm brothers. Here's some random facts I remember about it:

- They owned a goldfish
- There was a green witch
- One of the stories was about a talking potato
- One of the stories was about a giant with red boots
- Pierre wrote these stories

I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called, any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
