Just recently came back to using my old pc after replacing a broken cpu fan. I need help guys.

tl;dr, cpu fan speeds up to max rpm several minutes after starting a game, 2 hours later, close the game, shutdown-- BAM, BSOD.

details: bsod happened thrice before, once while copying a large file from local network, once while installing a game, another while playing a game after running chkdsk.

Check and see how hot your CPU is getting under full load and monitor it. Let us know the results.
